Venita
In Central Park, N.Y.C. struck as a preteen by the grace of ice skating Venita became a crusader for the arts, dedicating her life to the art of figure skating. She was skating at Iceland Restaurant on Broadway by the time of her High School graduation. 

She then went on to South America, starring in the first American Ice Show, touring South America. She performed with 32 blonds, I red head and herself a brunette. 

When she returned to the states, she starred at Madison Square Gardens, N.Y.C. with the Campion Skaters who were on their way to Brussels to compete in the World’s Championship of 1961. On their way to Brussels their plane hit a mountain and crashed. All passengers were killed. Venita was not on board. Venita performed with them one day before they left. 

Venita’s next show was starring on the world’s smallest ice skating surface (9 x 12 ice cube) on tour with Jamboree on ice. “The Postage” stamp ring was set up in theaters, hotels, “Harris” clubs in Reno, Tahoe and Elko, Nevada. The show then moved on to the World’s Fair in Seattle, Washington. 

In the 70’ and 80’s she taught skating and also judged ice competitions. She has performed in 30 states, 5 Caribbean Islands, Venezuela, Brazil and Argentina. 

She is continuing to perform as a singer and fire dancer with D. & V. RV Star Productions.
